Birds of India #52 - The Common Kestrel

Though we have observed and photographed many birds in the wilderness over the years, the Common Kestrel still remains our favorite model. And Hesserghatta remains our favorite studio to photograph this beautiful bird of prey.

Here are some images of a couple of Common Kestrels from our recent visit to Hesserghatta. You can see more frame filling compositions of the Common Kestrel Male here and that of the Female in this post.

All images have been taken with our trusted D300, 300mm f2.8 with 2x TC.
