We were flipping through our archives casually when we realized that we have many images of jungle landscapes that we haven't posted at all. And that is how the idea to do a series on Wild Places was born.
Going forward, through this series we want to bring you glimpses of some wild places that we have visited. Please do reach out to us in case you want any further details on any of these locations.
The Bhadra national park, which is rich in flora and fauna provides some stunning sunset views, thanks to the fact that the jungle lodges resort is located right on the backwater banks. This image was photographed from the comfort of the log hut where we had stayed.
The Corbett national park is one of the oldest Wildlife Sanctuaries in India and it extends for over 500 sq kms at the foothills of the Himalayas.
Here's a misty morning in the Bandipur national park, one of the best places to see a Tiger in South India.
Bera is a small hamlet about 150 kms from Udaipur, Rajasthan. The harsh hilly terrain of the region, which is home to Leopards also makes for wonderful landscape photography.
Salim Ali Bird sanctuary in Thattekad bird sanctuary, Kerala, is one of the best birding locations in the Indian Peninsula having over 250 species of birds. This image was taken from a tunnel that we stumbled upon during one of our morning treks.
